You can visit Santa and his reindeer at Highland Wildlife Park this Christmas

A popular Scottish wildlife park in the Highlands has announced that Santa Claus and his reindeer will come to visit before Christmas this year.

Highland Wildlife Park, which is near Kingussie, will host St Nick and his reindeer crew for four exciting dates in December.

The park run by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland invites families and animal fans to come see Santa on his trip to the Highlands and meet him before he returns to the North Pole this Christmas.

Santa Claus will tell stories, give children an early Christmas surprise and introduce participants to the park‘s herd of forest reindeer.

This exciting event will take place on the following dates:

  • saturday 11 december

  • sunday december 12

  • saturday 18 december

  • Sunday, December 19

Tickets are priced at £25 per child or £20 for participants under three, each experience will last 45 minutes and is a supplement to the day visit to the park itself.

The park recently announced it was hoping for a sound of polar bear paws after announcing that star attraction Victoria had entered its brood box for the winter.

Victoria and her mate Arktos have been courting again this year after the last successful dalliance between the pair led to the birth of popular baby Hamish.

They are now hoping that Hamish will have a new brother.
